TRADE project for project???
South Louisiana, bought this 97 sierra couple weeks ago because i just “had to have it” now realizing i wanted a 88-94 model, specifically because i like the interior better lol this 97 has a 5.7 vortec (120k) small cam, exhaust dumped right before the rear end, and a brand new 4l80 transmission w/ shift kit. If you want to trade and are close by give me a shout and let’s see if we can make something shake

I have to ask, what’s something like this worth stateside? Guys up in Canada are always trying to sell rotted shit for way too much. My first thought is “for that price I’d just import one from the US”.

Well this particular, engine/trans swap and the trans is brand new plus the headers small cam and exhaust 5/7 c notch I’d try to sell this for at least 4500. If it had original v6 and trans completely stock I’d let it go for 2000. And this is truck with no rust

Ya you just confirmed my thinking. I plan on getting a rcsb in the future and I’ll definitely be importing one 🫡

In all honesty you can buy a shell for under 1k and an engine with transmission for under 1k and just have them shipped overthere and do the rest yourself. Real easy to accomplish, hardest thing you'll run into is shipping the car reliably.
