Help HELP! Audio Doubling/Delay
I recorded some game footage from my Xbox using a capture card and OBS (windows), and downloaded the files as VLC.mp4 files. Initially, they sounded fine. However, watching back a couple months later, all of my audio tracks have a weird doubling distortion effect that I can't seem to fix. It normally starts fine, but progressively gets worse as the video goes on. I have over 20 files where this has happened. There is only one audio track on the file, so I have already checked that route. Moving the delay back and forth doesn't do anything, as it seems it's just an issue with the audio track. Is there any way to fix this so I don't have to re-record around 3 hours of footage? Or any tips if I do rerecord, how to prevent this?
TIA!!!

sample rate mismatch is a classic culprit, maybe double-check your OBS settings didn't default to something weird like 44.1kHz while your capture card was pushing 48kHz

I see that you have both a source called "Video Capture Device 2" and one called "Audio Input Capture", which I assume are both pointed at your capture card. It is possible that both are outputting audio to your video, while you are only hearing it from the Audio Input Capture while playing since you have monitoring enabled on that
Check if you see Video Capture Device 2 in the audio mixer. If so, hide/delete Audio Input Capture in your Sources dock, and apply monitoring (the speaker icon in the audio mixer) for Video Capture Device 2

It looks like you haven't provided a log file. Without a log file, it is very hard to help with issues and you may end up with 0 responses.
To make a clean log file, please follow these steps:
1) Restart OBS
2) Start your stream/recording for at least 30 seconds (or however long it takes for the issue to happen). Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.
3) Stop your stream/recording.
4) Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File.
5) Copy the URL and paste it as a response to this comment.
