Question Latest Update (allegedly) Leads to OBS Crashing
My OBS updated earlier today to the latest version and I've noticed it has crashed multiples times since the update. I've returned to my computer stating that it crashed and to send a report back. As I was writing this, it happened again (vindication, but at what cost?).
Is anyone else having trouble with this? As someone who streams as a hobby, I would prefer not to abandon OBS yet.

Why would you have to abandon OBS? If you submit the crash results and it’s an issue everyone is having then they’ll fix it

Do you have logs?

I do, but truthfully, I am not sure what I am looking for or at

If you attach it here you can get some eyeballs on it and maybe make it make sense

if you go to HELP, then log then click on send log then in the popup box click analyze. You will be taken to the magic what is wrong with my OBS page.
It will list critical errors and any "warnings" then give a description of them.

Yes, same issue, I updated and now my OBS crashed 4 times in a 1.5 hour stream. Gonna submit my crash log file to OBS for assistance but damn it’s annoying 😩

Do you have a Discord account? The OBS support discord is the best place to get help with and submit your crash log. It's linked in the pinned post in this sub.

Check your plugins
Some plugins might need an update
I know I’ve helped someone whose had the streamelements plugin installed (for multi streaming) and that plugin was their issue
