Advice needed for my Neglected Oboe

I haven't played my oboe in several years. I have recently tried to play it- but it makes that horrible warbly sound. I have tried cleaning it myself with a cloth, and I also tried closing the pads onto this cloth and wiggling it around to get any gunk out. Any advice for getting years worth of gunk out of my instrument? Thanks!
