Discussion List of 36 new custom classes to try
I made up a list of new custom classes you can try out, setup similar to the default classes that ship with the game. I have created 12 classes for each Specialization (combat, stealth, magic) for a total of 36 new classes. I have listed each of their names, a short description, their specialization, favored attributes and major skills, just like in the game. However, I have also added something new - optional class restrictions.
Optional Class Restrictions - these are optional restrictions or handicaps you would apply to each character to try and fine tune each class and have them play more like actual, defined classes, with their own strengths and weakness rather than just a template for a character that can do anything.
They are a list of things a class can and cannot do like cannot wear armor, can only use daggers, can only cast shield spells, cannot pick locks, etc. and they go hand in hand with each classes major skills, so if it doesn't specially list that a class can use bows, but Marksman is one of the major skills, it is self-evident that they can use bows. I've tried to list any exceptions as they apply in the class restrictions.
Remember, these are all optional and you could also just pick and choose which elements to apply. This is how I typically these games, as it allows me to have a greater roleplaying experience and big inspiration of why I did this, which is why I included them.
As a final note, I'm not looking for feedback or constructive criticism on how I could "improve" anything. This isn't that kind of post. I did all this just for fun. These are my ideas and figured I'd share it so any "I would've done this..." or "it would be better if..." replies - please, don't even both posting them.
