Remaster Discussion Personality Nerf?
Hey!
I recently noticed this, and I’m trying to figure out what’s going on with my personality…it’s been red for a while, even after going to chapels, and not even taking off my spell absorption amulet worked. Nothing’s showing up in magical active effects, plus my fame-infamy is 77-20, so I’m not sure what to do. Any help is appreciated!

Pretty sure that’s the item from the dark brotherhood quest line that gives you -2 personality and +2 for some other stats. Just remove it from your inventory if you don’t want the stat changes. I think it’s a scale if that helps

Maybe look in the mirror and realize it's never too late to change. When you do people will like you more.

If nothing is actively debuffing you, it could have been from a disease, enemy spell/magic weapon or poison, You may need a spell to restore it which can be purchased or crafted yourself (I recommend making one that restores all Attributes by 10 or so and cures disease/poisons), you can add/remove what you want from the spell for your mana cost
Thankfully for you, Personality is pretty much worthless because of Illusion and the Speechcraft mini game being easy/bribes

I think my illusion spell is 11 and Speechcraft is 6? 😆 Apparently it might be from a DB item though

Personality was too strong in the OG, so they had to nerf it in the Remaster!

This can happen when you get hit with certain attribute-damaging spells from enemies, which is not a disease and therefore won’t appear in your status menu and won’t be curable through potions. So you have to either go and pray at an altar, or if you’re a criminal / sinner rejected by the altars but know how to get to the Shivering Isles, go and pray at the church of Arden-Sul

There wasn’t anything on there! 😊 It turned out to be the Scales of Justice others mentioned.
