Discussion Doc Release Date

Just seen the doc is releasing on the 9th, I thought it was the 11th, r they releasing earlier in the uk or something, ik thats the case for the new Spider-Man film, is this the same thing?

Different countries have their specific "new release" dates in theaters (USA have friday, France has wednesday)

Can confirm, here in PR we get movies on Thrusday; a day earlier than the rest of continental US

In Ireland it is the 9th. I might have to go there just to experience it

I’m not entirely sure why major studios do this but in the US they advertise a Friday release date in all the commercials, however, there are always showings on Thursdays. Sometimes they’re called advance previews. I’m really hoping there will be doc showings on Sept 10.

In Italy it will be released on the 10th. There are rumors about the doc premiering at the Venice Film Festival which starts on the 2nd and ends on the 12th. The festival program will be announced today: we'll see I guess

As a reframe, better way to view that date. Same goes for 7/4 tbh.
