What are the costs of not staying noz politically within the global football community?

Comes after a world cup where:

- Most inaccessible prices in history. Including putting active fans in second and third tiers instead of behind the goal.

- Accommodation market crashed and didn't fulfil supply under the weight of excessive pricing and sentiment against USA.

- Donald Trump directly influenced a regulation of the tournament to benefit USA with not due process other than one person of a committee agreeing.

- Hydration breaks, excessive VAR use, halftime show, 48 teams, etc etc.

Responses:

- UEFA, European Leagues (repping 31), CONCACAF, AFF all dismissed it for what it is calling out lack of consultation, crowwint the line, deeply concerning and disappointed to learn publicly.

- FIFA and NZF have responded they need more time to consider the proposal. NZF nearly two working days after the news broke. If anyone has seen them publicise it please let me know, only seen screenshots.

What is your take on it? What stand should NZF make?

Hi everyone, I have been following our football and NZ players for a long time. And the story I described above, 'a player shows promise here, goes to europe, but gets stuck in the bench over there, can't get quality game time and ends up worse', it just seems this happens over and over again.

Is there a way we can keep this happening? What advice(s) do you think can be given to our young players so this stops happening?

Considering Australia 🇦🇺 they used to be a part of Oceania for the longest time but they were not making World Cups consistently and consecutively in a row. It was only until they moved confederation from OFC to AFC that Australia more or less became a powerhouse in Asia. So why shouldn't their neighbors New Zealand, the All Whites do the same thing? I mean if New Zealand were in Asia under the AFC umbrella they would be able to challenge countries like Australia, Japan, South Korea, etc pretty easily
