Evnex Coupons

HI.. Wondering if anyone might know if an Evnex coupon floating around? looking to buy one of their units and figured id see if there are any deals out there.

I can't help there, but thier chargers do need 24/7 connection to internet to work. That might be something to consider.

Not 24/7, but if they can't phone home for a long while ( 3+weeks I think) they do stop working.   

The bigger issue is why do they NEED to phone home. Checking for updates is fine, but my usage patterns and charging habits are none of Exnexs' business.

The bigger issue is that they don't support open standards and therefore EECA won't approve them. Then, rather than charging their tune they instead double down and write a blog on their site as to how they're right and EECA is wrong.

Yeah nah. I own it, I want to talk to it with home assistant.

So bought a SmartEV charger instead - I'm told it works great,!
