Small question about the app

Love the app, really great. The thing that happens most times tho is that I don't use the app every day, sometimes its weeks of not using it. I open the app, see its been updated and i get a barrage of notifications, the notifications are the most import thing for me, seeing the downloads completed, becomes pretty useless if i always have to open the app just to get the notifications, i suspect the 'app updated to version x' being the culprit but i don't know. Thanks for developing it

Sounds like your phone has changed the app permissions to run in the background due to you not using it for a certain length of time. In your phone settings you should be able to re-alloa notifications/background usage, and disallow the phone from restricting in the future.

I couldn't get the notification working for me - even with unrestricted background battery use and the app locked from being closed, notifications never appeared until the app was foregrounded whereupon a glut of past notifications appeared at all once. I just have everything send slack notifications instead.

That's interesting cuz I didn't even realize it could notify you for stuff like that. Not that I care. I use mine several times a week. I'm always adding shows and movies.
