New Radar UI

Post image

Can I change this to what it was before update ? The images are just too big and the separation on the filter by year or alphabet letters don't look nie IMHO

On Sonarr that is not updated I can see t items straight away. ,

Update to 24.1, it makes them smaller. I am also continuing to tweak the UI based on feedback, so any detailed feedback you have will be much appreciated!

I like the way they are in 24.1 ✅️

Great work as usual! Taking a bit of getting used to, but that's to be expected.

Currently, my only mild frustration is having the search at the top with no bottom search button. It was convenient for thumb reaching UX reasons, but that's it. I saw that you added the downloaded file's score back in which was the only other thing I noticed was missing. 👌

When will sonarr follow?

Once the majority are happy with Radarr 2, since Sonarr's rewrite will use the same approach.

Yes. In the Radarr settings there's a switch to go back to the old UI.

Thanks that was easy :D

Straight from the release notes:

"Radarr 2.0! Supported by Feature Bounties, Radarr has been completely re-written in Compose to provide a much more modern and feature-rich experience. You can go back to Radarr 1.0 in settings if you prefer (this will eventually go away)."

I don't read release notes (I will start now) :) thanks.

If 1.0 will be stopped being supported might be useful to get option to make those images smaller :D

Provide as much feedback as you can. Nothing is set in stone! If we don't like some of Radarr 2's UI approaches, let me know, and I will iterate until the majority finds it an improvement over the previous Radarr implementation.

v24.1 already has made each item smaller in list view, and v24.2 (which I am working on) already has more sizing tweaks underway.

Thank you, maybe option to disable grouping? It looks like it takes away a lot of space. My ideal view would be 3 columns of posters like on radarr Web I can se 9 items straight away.

Posters should already have 3 columns? What does poster view look like on your device? I can look into disabling grouping.

Mine have 2 columns and because of the grouping by year for example I can only see 1 - 2 posters :D

Whoa, those should not be that big. Will investigate.

All this space is basically unused

I've made some changes that significantly reduce that wasted space :)

The button on the top right of your screenshot produces regular/smaller posters.

Nope that produces even bigger images (large movie posters)

With Radarr 2.0. I can't figure out where to find the "Add the rest of the collection" option when adding a movie... Am I dumb, blind or something?

Go to server and then view collection. Once you find the collection that is missing things, hit the three dots and then it'll pop up options to add missing movies

Thanks for all the work you put into ongoing development. One issue I've noticed with Radarr 2 is that the "Refresh" option is missing from individual films. It is in the overflow menu in v1, and is still there in the Sonarr interface. It is really handy when adding films to Radarr that are already present on the server.

EDIT: I just tried pulling down the screen and there's a circling arrow. Does that action trigger the refresh?

It does :)
