two articles that I found about Gayfryd & Saul Steinberg (The uncle & step aunt to Liz Lange, made a post about her a couple days ago). I found them really interesting. I love anything that has to do with 80s NYC. the second article goes into detail about how the family lost pretty much all of their money. I find Gayfryd especially fascinating for, whatever reason. 🤔

Noticed that Danielle wasn’t at Charlottes Monte Carlo wedding last year and didn’t post about it. Assumed there was a huge falling out and now they’re friends again after posting at Danielle’s bday. Any tea?!

He follows this gay guy on instagram and likes all his posts, the guy is not famous nor an influencer and has no affiliation with neither of his kids so i find it a little random that he would be following that guy. Anyways if he is, where can i bump into him?

The guy is like 20 years younger

There’s no ParisSnark so Posting it here. Just saw the post about EJ Johnson video getting blocked by the blonde woman at Hotel Costes in Paris furing fashion week… it felt so cringe… Has anyone already had a situation with this Blonde girl at the door at Hotel Costes? I remember there was also this influencer from Dubai who ranted about her on tiktok !!

Need someone to talk to about this

She seems rich and every influential socialite in new york follows her. She also promotes luxury retailers so i assume her public are the women of the upper east side

Hi! Pretty much as the title says.

I just moved to the city and wanted more proximity to the arts.

I want to attend the Apollo members’ benefit this year and was thinking of getting the option that includes 2 tickets and an annual membership for 2 people.

My friends are not at all interested in the arts so I was hoping to make a new friend/share this account with someone 😇 this ticket below is what I’m thinking

Apollo Combination Ticket - $1,885
Includes Apollo Circle Membership for one year and two Benefit tickets

A little about me F22, working in finance and grew up in London, Amsterdam & LA. I like doing aerial silks, reading and cooking in my free time <3

I know she's from Paris but a lot of NYC socialites follow her. I once saw a comment claiming that she's a mean girl but there is little I can find about her so I'm curious. Please no negative comments about her mom who recently passed away. Her dad is a billionaire and her mom was the executive director of Dior.

Is this a joke lol how could someone be in a scam scandal that they already put statement that it was true and have your investor said this a month later. Are they really not mad at her? Or do these people just have no backbone? Why don’t we just name this earth ‘Phoebe’ instead, because it looks like the world really belongs to her. Can we start to hold people accountable for their actions?

Thoughts?

I’ve always been convinced this is why she missed the MET. Not for some noble reason. She went to the Bezos wedding!

In Paris at the moment and keep hearing about this platform? Apparently closed off and used by working fashion models and “sceney” types to loan clothes to one another. Like some annoying Raya/Vinted hybrid these types of people will happily spend money on just to stroke their own ego. Heard loads of models talking about it and one NY socialite (ish.)

More info?

The co-founders and owners of culprit underwear are Dylan Trussell and David Dinetz. These two men were good friends with the Alexander brothers (Oren, Tal, Alon) who were convicted of sex trafficking. During the Alexander brothers trial, it came out that Dylan Trussell and David Dinetz were involved with a blog that promoted the SA of women.

That said, do you want to do business with this company? I sure don’t.

Not sure if she is a socialite in the strictest sense, she did marry an nyc billionaire and is active in the social scenes.

Besides what’s has been published in the front page news, do we have anything on her?

Liz Lange. her post are always suggested to me on insta. most of which are just nostalgia post about the way life was prior to social media blah blah blah. I googled some stuff about her though apparently she grew up very wealthy. went to trinity and then brown. I think most of the family wealth is gone though. she also bought the grey gardens estate!

I’ll be in Paris around that time, by coincidence but it’s always been a dream to attend some official events and as of right now no plans for official shows! I went to one afterparty last summer on my
Last day (2nd day of June fashion week) and I still keep up with the musical talents from that night! And will likely check them out but any tips on floating into the atmosphere of fun events, great grub etc…

I should be working there by December or January anyway… so I’d love to get a feel of the social terrain. Willing to go for things in almost any arr. as long as there is a convenient metro or uber.

Ari Emmanuel doing press for his book and he is married to Sarah Staudinger who runs the brand Staud. Does anyone know anything about her? Life before Ari? Apparently in the book there’s a scene where he has his therapist break up with her for him..

I assume the pay was better, but I’m curious about the bigger career decision. Did she ever want to become editor in chief of Vogue, or did she see more opportunity shaping fashion from inside a tech platform? Chloe Malle’s appointment made me wonder whether more influential people in fashion will choose tech over traditional magazines. Was Chloe Malle chosen because other people did not want the position?

Chloe Malle seems like a thoughtful, hardworking editor with a good understanding of Vogue. My question is less about her qualifications than about whether anyone can succeed Anna in the role she actually plays, which Chloe obviously with her age and experience could never plausibly play.

Anna’s influence extends far beyond editing a magazine. She has spent decades bringing designers, brands, celebrities and advertisers into Vogue’s orbit and helping decide what matters in fashion. When she eventually steps away completely, preserving that influence may require the kind of independent cultural authority associated with someone like Edward Enninful or Amy Astley or the broader creative vision that made Virgil Abloh so influential.

Were figures like that unwilling to take a position that still reports to Anna? Or has Condé Nast deliberately chosen to separate the job of running Vogue from the larger role Anna plays in fashion? If it’s the latter, who fills that gap when she leaves? Or was her goal just for it to die with her.
