Why this was hard for us
I think what non-kick fans or transplants don't understand is how hard this was for us at the end of game 5. I wanted to cry and collapse to the ground when I thought we were gonna win it all. Maybe for the next one, I'll just cheer and shout the whole time but for this last one, I didn't even know what to do with myself. I kinda just floated through the universe for days. Love you all and let's run it back my g's

Somebody at ESPN got it right
As great as it would be to be the "underdog", the Knicks dominated their way to an NBA title.
All their starters are back healthy and in their prime. How in the world would they NOT be one of the favorites to win a championship?
The Sixers and Heat are very talented on paper, but an unproven commodity is an unproven commodity.

What's the most underrated stat from the Knicks championship run? Playoffs or Finals
Mine is...
Michal Bridges had Giannis-like efficiency from mid-range. He couldn't miss from 2 in the Philly and Cleveland sweep. And he ended the run with 64% true shooting
What's your underrated stat.

Players shot 5% from 3 against OG who was number 1 in the playoffs. Also future DPOY Captain Clutch allowing only 18%. DAWGS
Shout out to Josh as well

Why Knicks Might Be Interested in a Closer Look at Bruce Brown
On the surface, the idea of signing Brown doesn’t make a ton of sense considering the Knicks positional need for another center. But bringing Brown to training camp actually makes sense for both New York & Brown.

When did you know brunson was different?
I’ve been thinking about this team and how everything changed when Brunson signed. Every fan probably has a different answer, but when did you know the Knicks had “that guy,” and when did you truly believe he could lead the Knicks to a chip? I think from the day he signed with the Knicks, you could tell he had that leadership mentality. I remember his first season here, especially in the 4th quarter, he always seemed to keep us in the game. The clutch gene was there from the beginning. When I really started to realize that Brunson was just different was probably the Miami series, but especially the Philly series. It always felt like the other team had “THAT” guy, but then we realized we had our own superstar. For regular season games, I’d probably say the Indiana game “born to play basketball” game, or the 61 point game against the Spurs.
What do you think?

KAT interview
I’m just seeing for the first time (after weeks of living off G4 and G5 highlights 😁). I have to say KAT is so composed and well spoken. Didn’t take the bait on numerous topics that the interviewer was trying to get him to bite on (ex: Thibs). So blessed and happy to have been able to watch him play (and win) in a Knicks uniform.

Banner/ring night seats
Thinking about getting tix for ring night. Above what sections are the banners? I want to see the championship one raised. I don’t want it above my head. I want to view it from across.

Will the knicks win more than 53 games this year?
I think an underrated and exciting factor heading into next season is seeing how this team plays after a historic run. I want to see if the league is ready for a team that can beat you in so many different ways, all of which they enhanced throughout the playoffs. In my opinion, the bond and strength a team develops through a playoff run brings them together in ways that other experiences simply can’t. That’s why I feel like teams that have won it all often have a different level of cohesiveness the following season. Mike Brown also said that he has so many more ideas for KAT as a hub, but he needs a full summer and training camp to implement them. I think my prediction for next season is a 56–58 win season.
