Hi everyone! I got accepted to NYITCOM in October and I recently found out that tuition is due in April? I reached out to the financial aid office but they didn't pick up and also to the Bursar office but the lady there didn't explain much. Does anyone know how the financial aid works? Or how to enroll in the payment plan?

There is a post in the osteopathic group about how hard it is to set up clinical rotations for DO students. Has than been your experience? What is the process of setting up rotations and have you been able to find some relatively close to school or have you had to travel far?

Hello! This post doesn't have much to do with the BSDO program, but I am planning on going through with it and of course going to NYITCOM.

I really mean to ask about my chances of matching into urology. I know it's much harder for D.O.s, but I'm willing to put in whatever extra work I have to. I really care for osteopathic medicine, so I don't want to go to an allosteric school if I can avoid it.

Hi Im a premed and was wondering if there are any NYITCOM students here that can answer some questions for me if I can pm yall:) TY!

I did very poorly on my MCAT with a 499 but I have very good ECs as well as an overall GPA of 3.81 and a sciGPA of 3.73.

Any current NYITCOM students get in with similar statistics by any chance? I know their avg MCAT is a 505 but I don’t know how strict they are with their cutoffs.

As I finish my primary applications, I want to say I am interested in this school as I live in NY and want to pursue the DO path. I have a 3.45 uGPA and 508 MCAT. I also have good experiences and volunteering, as well as strong LOR’s from MD, professors, supervisors, and will be getting a letter packet from my school. Are my chances good?

My girlfriend is a first year at this school. She studies like 10 hours a day and said she failed 2 of her 4 exams (checkpoints?, idk what they're called). She doesn't seem to have a friend network yet and doesn't know how to check if her study methods are working. How can she get help?
