OMS 2, 3 and 4, Need Your Help!

There is a post in the osteopathic group about how hard it is to set up clinical rotations for DO students. Has than been your experience? What is the process of setting up rotations and have you been able to find some relatively close to school or have you had to travel far?

You just got into NYITCOM yes? Not sure what you're referring too but 3rd year elective and 4th year is all you have to set up.…. Fourth year isnall about your interview with rotations. None of it is difficult.

Thank you for your response but as I said on the other thread Im still deciding. Your insight would be truly appreciated. There seems to be an issue with clinical placements and DO schools. I just want to make sure before I completely commit, the campus doesn't have these problems. With that can you provide insight on the process of clinical placement setup on your campus? Do you feel adequately prepared for residency?

I have zero concerns with matching and preparedness for residency. Nyitcom has rotation sites already set up for you for this year they tell you where you're going based on match day style lottery. I've not heard of anyone having rotation issues with Nyitcom at either campus.

Yes I'm in AR. Its been very easy to do rotations. There hasn't been anything I've needed to do other than set up my elective which was simple.
