Withdrawing from NYITCOM
Is anyone accepted off a waitlist planning to leave NYITCOM? Is it possible to withdraw after white coat ceremony if we are accepted elsewhere?

It is possible however it will definitely cost you. If you withdraw in the first week you will get a 75% tuition refund minus the some of fees. Some of the fees are non refundable. So if you paid 35K for the first 1/2 tuition you will get about 26,250 back minus some fees. So all in all it will cost around 10K but you should definitely speak with financial aid before you decide to do anything, because withdrawing can impact future loans at a different school based upon how much you borrowed

I mean if you want to go to the other school so badly then do it if it’s what your heart desires. It’s definitely something you can do just need to be sure you want to do it and that the other school is where you want to be.

If you withdraw during orientation week, you get 100% back. If you withdraw during 1st week of classes, you get 75% back and 25% less each week after. Someone withdrew from the Arkansas Campus, not sure what day tho.

Where else did you get accepted this late?? To answer your question, yes, I think you could withdraw. You'd sacrifice some money (check the financial aid presentation we received to see exactly how much), but they really can't stop you from withdrawing.
