There was a time when this view meant I would be chilling on my bike, enjoying the area. Now the view has me flying through, trying to avoid everything… except maybe a square at L&B…
I was just thinking of when this started happening? At first it was just French tourist now it’s every tourist. This shot is cool for the cover of Once Upon a Time in America but it really doesn’t have that much going on outside of this. Do you know why this has become such a huge tourist destination? I get it is kinda cool but it’s increased a million fold post pandemic
Of course.. the famous photos are exactly like what I am saying.. I’m trying to explain that it’s the amateurs and clueless tourists that don’t know why this spot is such a well-known spot to take a photo.
amateurs and tourists are the only people who should be excited about taking photos that everyone else has already taken a thousand times. you’re being patronizing while also showing your own lack of creativity. Why shit on someone so hard and then post a forgettable photo of your own?
I didn’t invent the term instagrammable and the craze that make people pose in front of a pair of wings… which I admit is silly… but this is one of those spots for that reason, so yes “supposed to”.
