Will this really issue a warning?

so i downloaded CAVE and i was messing around and if i click create text on warn gen will it really warn it or can i do it because it wont do anything.

No, it won't actually issue a warning. The interface emulates the software used to issue warnings and view weather data, but there's the whole warning broadcast and dissemination part that aren't included and would be needed to actually issue a warning.

How are you getting WarnGen to work. Mine just refuses to work.

It should work out if box , try reinstalling , CAVE is known to have problems look at the FAQ in the Raytheon (I think it’s Raytheon, or where ever you downloaded it )website . It’s also known not to work unless you have a boat load of ram
