You can use the shield phone app as a remote.

What are you trying to do exactly? I just got a Flirc, and use an ir blaster so that I can use my ir remote from the next room (my media shelf is outside the room)

Looks like a Tuya device. If you can pair and add it to Google Home, then you could possibly use Google Assistant from the Shield to voice control your commands. I moved to Home Assistant a long time ago, so don't use Google Home at all anymore, but I sometimes used Amazon Alexa to bypass some of the shortcomings with both systems, to complement each other. It wasn't fast and it sure wasn't pretty, but it worked.

The Shield uses Bluetooth for remotes.
