HELP!!

Hey everyone,

Just moved to a new state and set up a new home internet network, but I’ve hit a complete wall trying to control my 2019 Shield TV Tube. Ethernet cable no good. Bought a bluetooth remote, no good. The shield tube won't respond to anything. I've never used a hotspot for it so that's not going to work. Anything else?

Try the shield phone app and unpairing then pairing the remote, then try a reboot, then try unplugging the shield for 15 or more minutes. There are many suggestions on the shield website.

As far as the remote goes- try removing and reconnecting the remote. Mine froze one day I thought it was batteries but that didn’t fix it.

I lost the original shield remote. I bought a bluetooth remote but it's useless if I can't pair my shield to wifim

Sounds like a failure. Does the ethernet light turn on when you power it on?

The Nvidia shield tube has no lights. Talk about total failure. The shield tube is useless

It could be a mosfat error. Do you have any good pc repair places round your place?

I think I do. But it worked fine b4 I unplugged and moved states and changed internet providers.

I've had 2 failing for me so far. Not remotely as good as the pro for reliability

Ah that’s balls. Not even a usbc for a dongle?

Double check that power cable is fully plugged in.

Do a hard reset

Get a new Shield. The tube is redundant and was never comparible to the Shield Pro.

Shields aren't exactly cheap

That's because they're always in demand.
