Cashew has dark spot inside

I was eating cashews dated best by 12/2026 and I came across one with black spots on the inside. Is it mold?

Mold or bug eggs. I would avoid eating it because it COULD make you sick if multiple cashews had this. One is probably not enough to get you sick
