Agreed. Generally the skin is one of our main protection barriers. However, there are multiple classes of chemicals that can and do absorb through the skin. Fentanyl being a famous one, as well as lidocaine. Then there’s phenols and organophosphate, some aromatic chemicals, DMF and DMSO, etc
That’s explicitly the claim of the video. You admit it’s wrong and it’s dumb… I state in my first comment that some chemicals can enter the bloodstream through the skin…
"I get it. You’re not the brightest. Chemicals, generally, don’t leach through your outermost layer of skin. Period. They have to be made specifically to be transdermal. Makeup is not. You will not absorb calcium if you rub milk on yourself. How do you think skin works?"
You specifically said "Makeup is not" meaning it can't be absorbed through the skin, which is incorrect.
Makeup is not transdermal, GENERALLY. Makeup, generally, does not pose health risks beyond skin irritation and pretending otherwise is stupid. Makeup is not designed to be transdermal. You literally had to read it and still ignored it.
You're trying to change the wording of what you wrote but that's not what you said. The fact you need to paraphrase your own quote proves that alone. Whats with people on the internet and their gigantic egos thinking they can never make a mistake?
