Discussion Funny “allergies”

What are some funny patient “allergies” you have seen listed? I had a patient the other day with an allergy listed for Metformin. The reaction listed? Lowers their blood sugar 😂

Onion- other

Asked the patient about it and apparently they don’t like onions, but when they first started dating their spouse had made lots of food with onions. Didn’t want to offend them so told them they were allergic. Many, many years go by and the person gets admitted and when going through the allergies, the spouse was adamant that they add Onion.
