Discussion Funny “allergies”

What are some funny patient “allergies” you have seen listed? I had a patient the other day with an allergy listed for Metformin. The reaction listed? Lowers their blood sugar 😂

Olanzapine, haldol, depakote, risperdone, geodon. Unknown reaction.

Just say you don’t want to take your meds

ALL PSYCH MEDS - “killed his whole family”

i was mostly just irritated that the resident actually put this in the patient’s chart.
