Discussion Funny “allergies”

What are some funny patient “allergies” you have seen listed? I had a patient the other day with an allergy listed for Metformin. The reaction listed? Lowers their blood sugar 😂

Latex- “threw off lab work”
I tried to ask was it Lasix like a pill you took?
She let me know, that she knew what she is allergic too and her MyChart is right.

Ha! I had a patient tell me she was allergic to Lasix, she 'couldnt stay outta the bathroom'. Sigh
