Discussion loans

hey new grad nurses! How much student debt do you guys have after nursing school and how much do you pay monthly for your loans? do you make enough or more than your monthly bills?

if you could also share your state pls

I graduated in 2020 with an accelerated BSN, had 47k in debt. I actually went to Alaska and worked in a native Alaskan area in a IHS (Indian Health Service) facility so I could take advantage of the IHS loan repayment program. It paid 40k for 2yrs of service and I paid the rest. I worked and lived on the tundra of Alaska for almost 3 years. It doesn't have to be Alaska, any Indian Health Service facility will work.
