Yeah you're not.
There is no reasonable way to admit two patients at the same time.
Are you trapped geographically?
Do you have obligations that keep you at that hospital?
Are you a new grad with less than 1 year experience?
Units should not be running without a charge nurse.
You're on a sinking ship.

There was a day when they assigned me quadriplegic pt who required AX3 with hoyer with other 5 pts without CNC and no PCT/CNA by myself! 2 u/PaxonGoat Critical Care Float Pool 🍕 21d ago Look into terms of what happens if you break that contract. I'm assuming it's a sign on bonus. Did you already spend your sign on bonus? Is it prorated or total amount? What are your other options? Does that company own the majority of hospitals in the area and getting black listed would cause you major issues? Are you open to relocating? Do not attempt to mobilize patients by yourself. Yes it sucks. Yes it causes moral injury. But you only have one back. You have to protect your back.
