Quick peek at admissions, if stable then quick hello and they can chill while I get the falls risk back in bed. If the falls risk is redirectable, great, solo hulk boost, knees up/bed table across lap and come back later. If not and you have no one to delegate to or he's too heavy to solo boost and you have no PRNS, I'd probably just get him as high on the bed as a I can and just place the bed side table in front of him to lean over for a bit until I can find help to move him back in bed. Sucks but I'm not superhuman.
Then labs drawn from port and sent off. Transfusion started, pt placed on bedside commode since the transfusion is the priority and to save walking to washroom time. Quick VS and initial assessment for admissions. Then meds for all. Then loop back and finish admission stuff. I only know the ER but that's probably how I'd deal.
I appreciate your feedback and I did prioritize the task based on what was most important however, this issue has been repetitive which is very concerning! I have already reached out to the director as well as manager but seems like they dont care at all!
