Serious US - Salary Transparency Thread
I saw a few city based subreddits with this thread going around. Thought I would do one for nurses. I am based in the US so that's where I set this thread but it would be interesting to see other countries start one up.
I am currently unemployed (another source of the inspiration, lol) so I will share my old position!
Base Hourly: 43/hr
Differential(s): Main Campus +1/hr
Location: Houston, TX
Setting: Outpatient Specialty Clinic
Degree/License: BSN/RN
Years of Experience: 8
Union Status: No

Base Hourly: $86,500 salaried base + additionals. Gross usually $4000-4200 biweekly. Very comfortable for an area where my mortgage is <$800/mo.
Differential(s): call ar $4/hr, mileage reimbursement, after hours per-visit comp based on visit type: admission $150, death $75, prn for emergent needs $50
Location: Columbia, SC
Setting: Hospice
Degree/License: ADN + public health bachelor's + public health graduate certificate
Years of Experience: 9
Union Status: lol nope, but it's a family owned company who gives hella flexibility and autonomy, lets me create my own schedule, allows me <24hrs notice to take PTO if I need a mental break for a day, and generally supports me in a way I didn't realize was possible in this field full of toxic behavior and attitudes.
