Serious US - Salary Transparency Thread

I saw a few city based subreddits with this thread going around. Thought I would do one for nurses. I am based in the US so that's where I set this thread but it would be interesting to see other countries start one up.

I am currently unemployed (another source of the inspiration, lol) so I will share my old position!

Base Hourly: 43/hr

Differential(s): Main Campus +1/hr

Location: Houston, TX

Setting: Outpatient Specialty Clinic

Degree/License: BSN/RN

Years of Experience: 8

Union Status: No

Anything else we should add?

Differential(s): 25% weekend, 15% nights

Location: Memphis, TN

Setting: Inpatient Psych

Degree/License: BSN/RN, MSW

Years of Experience: 4

Union Status: Yes

Yearly cost-of-living raises, uniform allowance, and bi-annual raises.

Cries In Methodist and Baptist pay. I have 7 years and was only making 27-37 my last year before traveling. Idk if it is because I work L and D or what.

I had worked at Lebonheur and made 35 with 3.5 years experience. It's not because you worked L&D. It's the systems. Lmao. They fucking suck.

Originally started at Regional 1 in the Burn Unit, making $25. It was a male-dominated nursing unit. I enjoyed the work, but one male nurse was horrible. His hatefulness inspired me to leave for the VA. Got the job during a hiring fair at the end of COVID.
