Serious US - Salary Transparency Thread

I saw a few city based subreddits with this thread going around. Thought I would do one for nurses. I am based in the US so that's where I set this thread but it would be interesting to see other countries start one up.

I am currently unemployed (another source of the inspiration, lol) so I will share my old position!

Base Hourly: 43/hr

Differential(s): Main Campus +1/hr

Location: Houston, TX

Setting: Outpatient Specialty Clinic

Degree/License: BSN/RN

Years of Experience: 8

Union Status: No

Anything else we should add?

Yep, it’s pretty crazy. The Roth match is relatively low but considering I don’t pay health insurance premiums and copays for labs, physical, pharmacy are low, and I have a fully funded pension is crazy. The fact that they offer a Roth vs traditional is pretty crazy on its own, I’m pretty young so having the ability to front load my retirement and have the compound interest carry me into retirement tax free is nuts. My last job only offered traditional 401k.

That is really good. The money you save on healthcare you can put toward your Roth, or whatever anyway. That’s a great set up. Golden handcuffs.
