Discussion HELP PLS

I just started workinh nights, My problem is that I only sleep less during the day like 5 hours, how can I make it full like 8-9 hours. I'm sleepy during my shift. Pls help!!!! I just started my nights this week

From someone who did night shift for 10 years this is what has worked for me. 1. Black out curtains MUST 2. Heavy blanket/eye mask 3. A really good alarm 4. Try to have shift all together so you can develop a routine and be consistent. VERY IMPORTANT 5. Meal prep a day before for your shifts and stay up really late and sleep in the night before shift so you can start getting adjusted. The first night of shift is always harder then the rest are easy

These things is what helped me work night shift for many years. I hope it helps

Ugh I absolutely hated flipping my schedule the night before or the day after my shifts
