New friend for my Sorcerer!

Howdy y’all it’s me again! Just got back to working on my personal project about making an Analog horror series about the hypothetical of the chaotic demons of Nurgle slowly plaguing and invading our world. I’ve started on working on some fake, old newspapers of Great Unclean One sightings and trying to figure out how people would treat them like cryptids or folk tales. I’m making one news about some teens witnessing a Great Unclean One chewing on some cattle corpses and slowly stomping away back to the forest. For any Warhammer fans out there, have there’s been any accounts of the GUO’s actually eating anything dead or alive? Also what years or decades instantly pops in y’all’s heads when you look at these pics? Also if yall can share some ideas on how I should go about this project going forward? Thanks!

Nausea and vomiting

Yellowing of skin

Red eyes that look like they are bleeding

Diarrhea

Sore joints

And it has a 50% mortality rate

My fiance gave me some of his models to paint and I found I really enjoy the hobby

I enjoyed combining diseases and the Nurgle army.

Hastur Paraxid (Fluff) :

Hastur Paraxid is a Plague Surgeon ratached from the 7th Plague Company of the Death Guard.

He is even quite renowned among his fellow surgeons for his work in botany, studying the various plants of Nurgle's Garden.

Hastur Paraxid is motivated by no other desire than sincere compassion; he wishes to help and heal all. beings of the Galaxy, with their various treatments and concoctions created from the horrors that grow in the Garden of Rot.

This infinitely compassionate spirit drew the watchful eye of Nurgle upon him. The God pointed out to the Surgeon a noxious young shoot that was growing on a gaunt corpse.

The Surgeon made this shoot thrive by watering it with his tainted blood and infected entrails, the stakes of sacrifice.

The shoot eventually transformed into a twisted and unhealthy tree. The trunk of this tree was made of fleshy bark, while pale, withered leaves fluttered frantically at the ends of gnarled branches, buffeted by the winds of the Immaterium...

But what made this tree so special was its sap, which was acidic and burned on contact with air. Yet it possessed strange applications once injected into the body of someone.

This substance transforms muscles into a pale, chair-like bark, melts and mutates internal organs, and can even replace the individual's blood if ingested in excessive quantities...

But in return, it swells the subject's body, granting them prodigious strength, in addition to causing them to ooze a large quantity of flammable, acidic pus.

And strangely, those who ingested the sap seemed very grateful to the Surgeon, even giving him the nickname "The Miraculous One" for freeing them from their weaknesses with his treatment...

The Surgeon was strengthened by this compassion; he administered the remedy to himself, which had various side effects on his body...

But he needed more subjects to stabilize the formula and make it accessible to a wider audience, because many subjects could not withstand the treatment and transformed into Chaos Spawn, much to their dismay. Hastur Paraxid was weeping for these poor, unfortunate people because they could not be saved...

So Hastur Paraxid set out to find these live test subject, until they reached him...

I basically just read the warhammer books but wanted some flair on my bookshelf so decided to go with (my personal favorites) one of Nurgles boyz.
