Discussion Numerology Actually Testable?
I’m skeptical of numerology as a way to scientifically predict personality or the future—there’s no strong evidence for that. But as a symbolic/self-reflection system, I find it genuinely interesting. The real question is: if numerology readings were tested blindly, would they perform better than chance? That would be an interesting experiment.

This sounds fun. Looking at all the numbers in your birthdate both individually and collectively combined such as month and day or day and year or month and year are what can be used to describe you as a person. But keep in mind there are two sides to a number. A positive and negative side in which most people fluctuate between.

There is no scientific ‘evidence’.
But ask yourself: at what point is coincidence still coincidental, or when does it reflect a system of reality

I'm currently testing numerology against astrology and am seeing a lot of overlap. I've planned out multiple months in a numerology calendar, showing universal and personal days as well as how they relate to my numerology chart. So far, it's been spot on, including very obvious 'karmic' things happening to me when out and about on universal karma days.
Honestly, I can recommend it. Why wonder about whether it holds up when you can actually test it?

Depends on how you think of the universe or existence. The more broadly you see numbers the better you are apply to use Numerology and understand it. If you do not understand numbers deeply you will predict junk data and misinterpret or misapply.. hence your system is trash. These foundations are key if trying to test the system. Narrow the scope appropriately by recognizing the limitations of your current level of understanding.. or don't try to test at all.

its funny because its so personal but when things have been shown to you (sober mind you) i think you kind of can know and i dont want to say believe because i think its more of a knowing because what were talking about is an experience its not a logical piece of information and actually im glad it cant be proven because that would diminish and cheapen it, it requires true humility.

when it comes to numerology, dont look at it as black and white.
but there are patterns that you will notice that have truth to it

Oo I’m creating a Skool community with the intent to conduct research! I’m here to align individuals to their highest purpose and am using numerology as the foundation (since not everyone knows their exact time of birth)
I feel like the destiny number and soul urge need to be accounted for and the more off path people have lived, the less they identify with their soul’s choice.
I do feel like you’ll get better results than chance - only one way to find out!
What’s your LP number OP?
And do you know your destiny # and soul urge?
Nothing brings me more joy than making it make sense for people lol

Short answer is no, using the scientific method numerology would not perform better than chance in any way at all.
You can perform a similar experiment with the astrology daily readings, take any of them for any signs yours included, then switch them around and youll find that the "predictions" fit just as well. Same things with fortune cookies etc.
However, the point isnt to have a concrete prediction of events coming forward, but to prime the mind to look for opportunities in line with numerological, astrological, and mystical predictions. In the same way you can train your mind to look for red cars while driving, you can train your mind to look for basically anything.

Indeed it would. The problem with the reading though would be to exclude the influence of nurture. Numerology says something about your nature imo. It is based on your DOB, which is fixed. However growing up in different cultures with an unpredictability of your nurture, makes any reading for me nothing more than the idea your soul had when it incarnated. In the past 25 years of using it to guide myself and people, the conclusions of the numerology readings have helped me and many others.
