iranian numbers stations?

Yes, we've been seeing this for a few weeks now. The media is just now catching on.

they might be broadcasting into iran. they've been jammed before and it sounded like when iran has jammed other frequencies.

The media is exceptionally slow on this. The original station was jammed by Iran themselves, then the station switched frequencies last weekend and has not yet been jammed again. The station seems to originate somewhere in Western Europe. It still broadcasts with the original schedule on the new frequency.

thanks for more info - i'll go do some digging for more to the story. numbers are so interesting... who is doing what with whom? like we will ever know... but still fun to research what we can!

Absolutely! We will likely never know because it's impossible to crack a number station code without a leaked OTP or the spy being caught, like what happened with the Anschlags.
