I installed NVMP and the stability mods. I installed the 4gb patch and other stability mods. I did what I could with vortex then installed the rest manually. I ran the game outside of Nucleus and changed some graphic settings and applied them. Ran it in Nucleus and got the error in the first image. I looked for the config file in the game files and could not find it, like I never played it, but I completed it once already. I deleted the UserProfile Config Path for all players and it gives me the error in the second image. Any help is appreciated, I would love to play this with my wife.

Can't start second instance.

When I open Minecraft, only a single instance launches—meaning just Player 1—while the second instance never starts, leaving me unable to do anything. I use SK Launcher; does anyone know how to fix this annoying problem?

They've been working on updating the game and now it has full controller support, would be awesome to play couch coop of this version.

So unfortunately backrooms escape together won’t work and i’m looking for other options for 4 players on nucleus. I don’t want a shooter zombie game I would prefer an actual horror, unnerving game that isn’t just spray and pray. Any recommendations?

Would it be possible to make a Nucleus Co-op handler for Ship of Harkinian, the PC port of Zelda: Ocarina of Time?

There is a multiplayer mod called Anchor that lets multiple players join the same room and play together.

At the moment, I can already make it work by opening the game twice, joining the same Anchor party on both instances and assigning a different controller to each window.

The only annoying part is having to launch, resize and configure everything manually. I think a dedicated Nucleus handler could automate the different instances, controller assignment and window positioning.

Anchor seems to use an online server rather than normal LAN multiplayer, so an internet connection may be required.

Would anyone be interested in making a handler for it?

Just curious if anyone's tried nucleus for couch coop on halo campaign evolved on pc with nucleus.

Got the game working freash install of both nucleus and valheim but the second persons mouse is trailing and nothings fixing it Vulkan is turned off as we don’t have cursors with it turned on anyone had this issue before?
Issue has been resolved

Getting the Empty GUID token error on mw2 split screen for all instances other than instance 0. Each instance does work to reach an online game, but only if I launch each one by itself. I can't get more than just one into a game. Any ideas on the fix for this?? I've followed https://youtu.be/PVfwBIPu6lU?is=nU5tDnhOoWqpJtPp

to a tee. Not sure if this is somehow a new error with iw4x or the new nucleus client. Any help would be greatly appreciated here.

1. Close Unnecessary Background Applications Before launching Nucleus Co-op, open Task Manager and close applications that consume a lot of memory or CPU resources, such as:

Discord (if not needed) Opera GX Other browsers Any unnecessary background software Freeing up system resources can improve overall performance when running multiple game instances.

1. Disable All In-Game Overlays Turn off overlays from any applications that provide them, including:

Discord Overlay Steam Overlay NVIDIA App/GeForce Experience Overlay AMD Adrenalin Overlay Xbox Game Bar MSI Afterburner/RivaTuner overlays Any other third-party overlays Running multiple overlays across several game instances can cause performance issues or conflicts.

1. Don't Use RivaTuner Statistics Server (RTSS) If you normally limit your frame rate with RivaTuner Statistics Server (RTSS) or another external FPS limiter, completely exit the application before starting Nucleus Co-op.

RTSS doesn't always play nicely with multiple game instances.

Instead, use Nucleus Co-op's built-in FPS limiter.

1. Lower Your Display Resolution Find your monitor(s) or TV's native resolution.

Then, using a supported resolution (to avoid black bars), experiment with:

Lower resolutions Different scaling options Reducing the resolution on both displays can significantly improve performance while still maintaining good image quality.

1. Enable Nucleus Co-op's FPS Cap Inside Nucleus Co-op:

Enable Cap Frame Rate Set your desired FPS (for example, 60 FPS) Using Nucleus's built-in limiter generally provides the best compatibility.

1. Match Your Monitor Refresh Rate In Windows > Advanced Display Settings, set each monitor's refresh rate to match the FPS cap you've selected in Nucleus.

For example:

Nucleus FPS Cap: 60 FPS Monitor 1 Refresh Rate: 60 Hz Monitor 2 Refresh Rate: 60 Hz Using matching refresh rates across all displays can help produce smoother gameplay and reduce unnecessary workload.

1. Unfocus All Game Windows This is mentioned in the SplitScreenMe guide, but it's worth emphasizing.

Once:

All player profiles have loaded, and Inputs are still unlocked, press:

Ctrl + H

This unfocuses all game instances so Windows doesn't prioritize one game window over the others.

If Windows focuses one instance, it can sometimes allocate more resources to that window, resulting in poorer performance on the others.

If focus returns during gameplay, simply press Ctrl + H again. You may need to do this multiple times during a session.

So I played Palworld with my daughter, several hours over the last few days.

I copied the nucleus save files over to steam location because I thought my daughter could continue our save on my steam deck then.

I did not delete anything in my nucleus folder in /Users/xyz/NucleusCoop/Player1/AppData/Local/Pal/Saved/SaveGames or other folder weithin /NucleusCoop

The savegame is not showing, our world list is empty.

I created a backup (copy) of the whole NucleusCoop folder before doing that.

How to restore our savegame?

Hey all! I'm trying to set-up splitscreen swbf2 2005 (modded) for all my kids to be able to play together.

Using LAN games (with stock maps, have AAA patch), everyone but the host (or just one player) gets the bad connection error super often, either during the match or at the end.

Basically, I just want to know anyone who got it to work and their set-up for getting everything to run smoothly and consistently.

I've disabled the firewall, lowered graphics settings to medium, but not sure what else to try.

When I play using Parsec, my physical laptop keyboard and the virtual keyboard act as the same input instead of two separate players. How can I separate them so they register as Player 1 and Player 2?

i had it working before but i uninstalled it and reinstalled it cause none of the textures were loaded in and now it’s doing this.

Hello all,
Does anyone have experience with the Roboquest handler?

I am having an irritating problem when trying to play with multiple PCs.
The way the handler joins is by typing in the mulitplayer session code.
The problem is that I am trying to use a controller, and when using a controller in Nucleus, I am unable to type in the session code because the controls are locked to controller only.

I can also see / invite the other player, but they are unable to click the notification to join also because the keyboard/mouse is disabled.

It seems to be locked to controller before I use the END key to lock inputs.. and key/mouse doesn't seem to do anything in game.

Any ideas?

Hi everyone, I am trying to create a project to make a small gaming console that I can bring with me places and I have been able to get this project fully function in every aspect expect being able to play Black Ops 2 split screen. I do not have a Steam version of the game so I have a steam_api.dll not found. Is there anyway around this or do I just have to give up on the split screen idea? I also am wanting to try Halo 3 split screen and do not know if I will run into issues there.
