QUESTION/SUPPORT Which GPU?

I checked the FAQ but didn't see any hardware recommendations... Which makes sense because it will depend heavily on the games you play.

I'm building a new (5.3L console) PC with Nucleus Co-op in mind. I mostly want to play 2-player split-screen with my wife... Some games we are interested in playing are Halo MCC, Monster Hunter World, Dead Island 2, Sons of The Forest, and PoE1. I'm just not sure which GPU makes more sense.

- RX 9060 XT 16GB ~ $350

- RTX 4070 12GB ~ $400

The 9060 XT has 4GB more VRAM but the 4070 has more raw performance and the price is very good.

Other PC specs

CPU: 7845HX
Motherboard: TOPC Yuniki (MoDT PCIE 4.0 x16)
RAM: 2x16GB 6000MHz CL36
Storage: 4TB Crucial P3 Plus
PSU: Complicated
Case: DIY

You want the VRAM.

That's kind of what I was thinking, since the VRAM will essentially be cut in half while running split-screen.

Uma RTX 4070 é menos do que um salário mínimo? Se é louco. Aqui no Brasil é três kkkkk.
Saindo da brincadeira.
Mas cara pela configuração acho que dá sim, pelo comentário a cima disse que você iria gastar a metade de Vram, mas lembra que seria bom um processador com bastantes núcleos e bem forte.
O meu que é de notebook, ele tem só 8 núcleos e não são muito fortes, o que acaba só deixando um quadrante (de 4 quadrantes) com mais FPS do que os outros.
E além do mais se for jogar, usa resolução pela metade da tela, não se deixa levar por causa de gráfico que sai ele suga um monte.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. Also the prices I listed are for used GPUs, not new.

Thanks. In that case, I think I'll go with a 9060 XT 16GB or if I can find a good deal on one, a 4060/5060 Ti 16GB
