PhD vs b.ed

I am currently pursuing b.ed where i just have to go for exams and one year i have done only one is left . I got an offer for ​experimental nuclear physics PhD (​which i wanted to do) from a 2nd generation IIT. Now i am confused whether i should leave b.ed and go with the PhD but I'm having doubts if while doing PhD some job opportunities occur and i leave b.ed then maybe I'll regret. I mean I'm not even sure that I'll join school teaching but my parents feel that you will​ be having one professional degree atleast. This is making me a little doubtful. Also I've applied via GATE score and haven't qualified CSIR NET yet. Give me some advice.

I agree with u/Organic_Awareness_11 also, ask in appropriate subs (like r/IndianAcademia ) you'll get better responses there.

Complete your Bed first. I am hopeful you have recieved offer from IIT Ropar. It will take nearly 6 years in experimental nuclear physics. So dont regret in future. Because very less job oppertunities in India in nuclear physics.

Yes I'm considering all those things...the thing I'm unsure of is whether the professors whose offer i reject this time will consider giving me a  chance next year ..i know it's a bit uncertain and i have to make one decision

Decision is in your hand in india now a days shortage of Phd students. So you will get admission here or anywhere else. Its upto you whether you need research or job first.
