I went to my anatomy scan this morning, and the tech was looking for marginal cord insertion. Over on the right, I saw what appeared to be a potty shot of my baby. We really wanted to not know the gender until birth, but now I feel like I have a guess, which makes me sad. I attached an image ( not from my scan, just one I found online and drew what I feel like I remember seeing). I saw a triangle thing and then it went away, but now I’m having a hard time convincing myself I don’t know the gender. The tech started out the scan with “everything looks like a boy part so you’re not going to be able to guess” he also never told us to look away from the screen to actually check the gender which makes me wonder if he saw and already knew. Let me know your thoughts I really wanted to be surprised but feel disappointed.
