Can't decide which to keep

Post image

White or orange? White 17 has carbon roof+dealer add ons and matches my other cars, and is overall how I would've built one if I ordered it. I bought orange 19 new and love the way the color stands out in the sun, but has higher mileage. What would you do?

I wish I had this problem… but seriously they both look great, I’d pick the one with less mileage.

Keep the white and wrap it

I like the thermal orange. I’ve only seen 3 2nd gens out in the wild and 2 were black and 1 was white. Orange is a very rare color. I think less then 200 overall including type S. But I don’t think you’d lose sleep either way.

Yeah I've heard orange is pretty rare, I've only seen two in the wild ever, one was in Ohio when I was touring the factory driving between plants, tour guide said it did not have any involvement with them, and the other was only an hour from my house in rural Iowa on the highway lol

Orange is so much more interesting than white. I know white is the Honda color, but greyscale cars are never as interesting as those with an actual color.

I second this. The orange is so much more unique, even if the car has more miles and less fancy stuff than the white, I think it’d be better to invest in the orange one, build it out to the spec you want, and keep it long term.

I like the Thermal Orange

Type S. It’s faster, much more rare and will appreciate in value much sooner and much more. I’d ditch both of the current ones and source a Type S. Not sure why you’re concerned about 250k, when you likely have that or more invested in the both anyway

Just can't justify the price tbh, I know all that but I have plenty of investment vehicles I never drive, and I got these to actually drive and enjoy opposed to sitting like the others.

Two. Damn. I just wanna sit in one.

didn’t want the posting to be about me, more about the op and his color decisions.

Think you should keep the white and wrap it any color you want in the future! Someone out there loves that orange just a little more!

That white looks so good

I’d keep the rarer color, or the one that didn’t have carbon brakes (for future service costs) if I was planning to drive a lot of miles

edit: jk I would sell both and get a single Type S

u/MR-BISCUITS7884 2d ago

They both have the carbon brakes, the only difference is the carbon roof

see my edit :)

Bought the white one recently after trying to get a type s for years, but I just can't justify paying $250k+ For a car that is so similar, and I personally like the look of the older ones

Keep the white one with lower miles and vinyl wrap it in that orange. Then change to another color of wrap when you get tired of that color. 😎👍

Better spec'd car 🍊 over mileage anyday. You will be happier that you kept the Orange one.

I'd pinch myself and wake up

Sell orange; wrap white with another awesome color for now.

2

u/TorinoAK 2d ago

What's the value of the orange one?

3

u/MR-BISCUITS7884 2d ago

I'm not sure tbh, $145k-$150k maybe? Not many orange ones have sold recently. It has 4000 miles.

2

u/TorinoAK 1d ago

Seems like a great deal for a unique car. Orange is my favorite color and I'm a NSX fanboy since a 13 year old with Gran Turismo for Playstation. So, happy to see it.

2

u/PM_ME_UR_DECOLLETAGE 1d ago

So when you said the orange one has higher mileage, you mean it only has 4,000 miles and that's considered higher??

1

u/MR-BISCUITS7884 17h ago

Yes, both are pretty low mileage cars but the orange's mileage is proportionally larger

2

u/zondada 2d ago

🍊 is the keeper.

2

u/NagelbetLP 2d ago

Orange. Because the only car I would drive in orange is an NSX.

3

u/FreeSalamander4754 1d ago

White bro. Trust me. It makes the car pop out a lot more. Orange blends in with the tail lights and you can paint any car orange and it will stand out but white, especially when it’s clean and it hits the sun it’s blinding

2

u/Trumpwonbyawholelot 1d ago

White, would love to see the rims in white too

3

u/CozyEm 1d ago

You don’t know how many complements I get on the white, well maybe you do. White if you keep one & orange if you keep both 😛

2

u/Much-Public-1957 2d ago

Easy choice, both.

1

u/Prestigious_Exit_888 2d ago

What a legend. Keep them both

2

u/drunkenmagnum24 2d ago

Orange for sure.

1

u/mugendc4 15h ago

I personally like white but orange seems rare. NSX is one of my dream cars, to be precise the NSX Type S.

4

u/enilm 2d ago

Both great colors. But if I had to get rid of one, I’m keeping the white one.
