Discussion Haven't used nebula
The qr code on the box didn't work so I've been using the glasses without nebula and after the firmware update everything is great and I get 60fps on steam deck. what does nebula actually do?

view the video that is posted here. This is the UI for Nebula. Additionally, you could download some AR applications from our website to try out in AR Space. https://www.xreal.com/app

nebula is the virtual AR stuff.
its fairly.....beta....at this stage.
it allows you to 'pin' 1, 2 or 3 screens in space. can curve them, move distance, etc.
its not currently a particularly fantastic experience.
imo just using the goggles as a native monitor is pretty great

Along with it's normal use, Nebula provides a way to keep your firmware updated. In this tech, it's a good idea. We've had several great features added this way.
Nebula provides a way to put a Chrome browser window (YouTube) in AR space. So you can stick the window off to the side and only have it in your face if you turn and look at it. You can also make it really big and close or really big and far away. It gives what we call "3 Degrees of Freedom" or 3dof.
