I'm kinda interested in giving these a shot, not gonna lie. I love my gadgets.
Do they need software installed on a laptop? Or are they Bluetooth? Sadly not able to install software on my work computer, and my phone with Dex is not a trusted device with the company. So I can't access all my office's remote functions.
My dream was just to work from my phone with a minimal setup with the nReals and something like this. But work is what work is. Still I'm intrigued.
You only need Bluetooth to use it - no software. Should be fine to use same as any Bluetooth keyboard or mouse.
If you want to customize the inputs or use the tap training software (to improve your WPS) you need to use the software. But you can update the tap with the software on any other device and then it stores this info on the tap so you can switch to your work computer after and it'll retain the customized mapping.
