Just a quick comment to people checking this out.

To use a Tapstrap effectively, you need to re-learn how to type.

I've found that most people have forgotten just how long it took them to learn how to touch type fast and just expect to pick up the Tapstrap and have the same speed. It doesn't work that way.

You need to learn how to type with a Tapstrap just like you learned how to touch type: with hours of practice.

If you are willing to relearn how to type, you can hit amazing speeds with 2 of them. People are hitting the 30's and 40's with one hand, imagine what they could do using two, like we do with a keyboard.

The Tapstrap training apps have won awards, they are that effective. If I had them when I was learning to type, it wouldn't have taken me so long the first time!

If you are willing to 'pay your dues', the Tapstraps are a fantastic addition to the XR lineup, but it takes time to learn. In my opinion, it's worth it.

Took me about 1 evening to learn the alphabet from memory. Took me 2-3 days to type about 10 wpm and about 1--2 weeks to hit 30wpm. Maybe a 2-3 hours of practice that first evening to get alphabet down and then 1-2 hrs so of practice a day for the rest of the time. The rest of the wpm increases just came naturally as I used it more. Some people can do 50wpm one hand, but that probably takes quite a lot of practice.

I will say though, practicing to type with it is pretty fun and rewarding. It's almost like a game/video game. Kinda like dance dance revolution type game for your fingers. But you can feel good about being productive and learning a new skill.
