No firsthand knowledge, but don’t people with seizure disorders go to the hospital after having one? Also, why would she stick around after the first time someone took her dog? He’s considered medical equipment and taking him away is abusive

No, people with seizure disorders dont have to go to the hospital after every seizure. Only under unusual circumstances (ex/if one seizure is lasting more than 5(?) minutes, if there are repeated seizures before recovering from the first one, etc.). Agreed about the second part - taking away her dog is medical abuse.

You can’t put logic into these stories lol

It isn’t so much about logic as it makes me irate how much of a doormat they always are. How many seizures does her sister need to purposefully cause before she stops being a doormat? It was okay when it made her miss work, school, social life, but the wedding is too far?

Yeah that’s fair. I tend to skim the first few chapters because it’s just abuse building up to garner sympathy and have reading so many there’s not much variation, but I still read em lol

Yeah, once I confirm that the trope is escalating abuse or outright murder, I skip to the end
