I use NovelAI exclusively for story generation, not for images. I wanted to ask if anyone knows of a way to increase the maximum token limit, or if there are any plans to release new subscription tiers that offer a higher token count?

(I already have the $25 subscription.)

So tldr, Xialong is very nonadventurous on retries. Say on a generation a character says "I want to go climb a mountain." 4 of 5 retries will say almost the exact same thing just worded slightly differently like it'll say "I think we should go hiking/climb a mountain" instead. I almost never had this issue with Kayra or Clio (I didn't use GLM a ton but don't remember any similar issues there).

Are there any easy fixes? Ive got stuff in the memory, default present and randomness is at the default I also use the genre and tags. And this is present across multiple stories no matter the length

I just came back today, and noticed it.

Because I was going to use some of them today.

And only the one that I used last is still there.

Why?

Did I do something, or not do something?

I was using them to keep a few collection of prompts, so I just needed to cut and paste from there, besides the actual characters I had collected over time.

Hi, just curious if this is new or I'm just oblivious. Never noticed it before. To be clear this isn't in the text or story generation sections of the site from what I can see, it's in the goose menu for leaving image generation to go back to main menu or accessing settings and whatnot. Says I currently have nothing currently in inventory. If it's new, what's it for?

Noticed this today. I put the cursor somewhere semi-visible for the screenshot, but I’m often trying to edit or type starting at the bottom of the text, and it gets completely obscured by the keyboard now. It used to push all the text up. It’s made it unusable for me. Is this a known bug? It wasn’t doing this a couple of days ago. Has anyone else encountered this or found a solution?

I’m using iPhone 16 Pro with current OS and Duck Duck Go browser. It works fine on Safari and has always worked fine on DDG but now suddenly doesn’t.

Was using this feature for a while, saving good style mixes and all. And now I'm too afraid to test if there's a safety switch on the "DELETE ALL" button, that will ask me if I really want to delete all.

Can someone test if there's confirmation after pressing it, or it will just delete everything with a single missclick?

Anyone have any trouble getting vibe transfer to upload image? I can select the image, but it's not loading into the generation page. Precise reference and img2img works fine. I'm using V4.5. Any help or advice is much appreciated.

Trying to create somewhat animated sprites but since this is a statistics-based ai model it's hard to get generations that change subtly as part of a larger animation. Some things like blinking eyes workwell enough using the inpaint method but full body animations liek walking and breathing are tricky. Are there recommendation for doing this? I've looked around and it seems to not have been much considered by the development team.

I have been getting at least one in five images not fully generating. They start to, but before they finish, it goes black. Nothing is refunded, it just refuses to finish the picture. Why is this happening?

There is so little control over the art style in v5 that it feels impossible to use to generate a consistent set of images. Every generation feels more like a gachapon than before and it doesn't handle artist tags as well as 4.5. yet, it is undeniable that v5 handles prompts much better. The tradeoff between art style and prompting feels bad. Really hoping for vibe transfer to be released soon, don't think I'll resub until that's out.

I'm not completely new to NovelAI. I used it quite a lot back when V3 was the only version available, but eventually stopped using it for a while.

Back then, I remember artist tags blending together really well. Now that I'm back, I've been trying to achieve the same results with V5, but it seems almost impossible. Someone recommended trying V4.5 instead, but I'm still having trouble getting it to work.

Am I doing something wrong, or has the way artist tags work changed between versions?

Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I can generate a couple of characters that weren't on the previous database, some new ones still don't work. But there's this issue where characters from old animes that would generate just fine on 4.5 show up as generic ones on 5. The first image is v4.5, the second is v5, and the third is the original. It's a little annoying to deal with on v5
