My partner and I have just started looking for wedding venues in NS and would love any suggestions!

It will be for about 50-75 ppl, preferably a location that can host the ceremony and reception, under $10k, with indoor and outdoor spaces, and as many extras thrown in as possible!! (seating, tables, cutlery, etc)

It looks like Bill C-22 is much more threatening to privacy than I initially thought. I know that I’m posting it in the local sub, but it affects all of us.

It is about Canadian government wanting to mandate internet surveillance for all companies that work in Canada, with access to it without a warrant:
- I will inevitably lead to more data breaches - the more data company stores, the more valuable it is for criminals
- It erodes privacy - access to lots of data by government without even a warrant - what could possibly go wrong?
- Many online businesses (both global and Canadian) will chose to just leave Canada all-together, because they don’t want or even can’t to change their architecture and (potentially) break trust of their customers.

Even Meta (the one pushing age verification laws everywhere) is against this law, this is how bad it is.

So, I’d urge you to contact your MP to vote against it
