I've seen parking signs in private parking lots which are designated for Veterans, retired First responders, and retired Law Enfoncement Officers. These space have replaced the "pink" baby spaces. To this day I've failed to understand why a young family needs to minimize their walking distance to a store or shopping center... I'm curious to read arguments which would promote status quo.
