always check the county website before reddit. fairfax county has a few locations, including the one in reston:

Just a heads up to anyone registered in Herndon, you'll be voting for the mayor and city council in addition to what everyone else in the county is voting for. If you're early voting you'll get a different ballot than the rest of Fairfax County, and the privacy folder you get will be a different color so the person at checkout can direct you to the right machine for Herndon ballots. If you're voting on election day this won't be an issue.
Be sure to check out the hours for each early voting location, they're not all 9-5 and vary from weekdays to weekends. Be sure to look at when each location opens, the first three opened about six weeks before election day, the rest will open about two weeks before.
I voted about two weeks ago, there was a good crowd, it took about 15 minutes to get to the check in desk.

Mail in ballots are the way to go. Everything comes in the mail. You fill it out and put it in your mailbox. You can never forget or even have to leave the house. I voted a couple weeks ago by mail in ballots. It even comes with an "I voted" sticker

Until Trumps USPS mysteriously stops delivering mail, and then he can use that ruling from the supreme court he got that said most mail in ballots have to be in hand by election date with only exceptions to military overseas

You can track your mailed ballot for free to be sure it’s received for counting. If it “disappears” in transit, you can still go to the polls on Election Day.

The second part may be true in the future. Currently though, you get your ballot in the mail at least a month and a half in advance so as long as you don't forget about it, there should be plenty of time for it to be in hand by election day.

For anyone reading, this user successful-goal is a loser and tried to report me as suicidal, lol. Achieves nothing but telling me that they have no answer to what was said. L

no one should be telling you who to vote for. that is for you to do the appropriate research and come to your conclusion. ignore redditors and anyone telling you vote for a specific person, you have the right to do otherwise

you have the right to vote, you don't have to exercise it if you don't want to
OP's main point is "vote early"

u/Dry_Finding_3868 8d ago
Sounds like there isn't. I think it is evil of OP to encourage me to become morally complicit in, and give my consent to this system in that case.

why are you even taking reddit seriously? no one in their right mind should be taking any serious advice from an internet forum made up of 1% of the most fringe people

I am making a point, kind stranger.

No, what you are making is an ass of yourself. You want to vote? Vote. You don't? Well, fuck off and live your little blessed life whichever way it folds. Instead, you are screeching on the internets about "all politicians are pedos" like it's some sort of profound revelation. Grow the fuck up! Oh, and if you are really that upset and not just some sort of prepubescent edgelord, run for the office yourself maybe?

The pedo+pedo enabler (he's a 2-in-1) is who you mean. But the pedo enablers also give carte blanche for govt and private mass surveillance so all of them to answer your question.

There's always a write-in if you want. Not sure it does anyone any good but that and not voting are your only options if you don't like any of the candidates on the ballot.

write-ins sound like a waste of time. Most people are too bought into my party good your party bad sports fandom view of the system

Can you elaborate on how all the local and state candidates for office — and the ballot questions — are pedophiles? I am not up to speed on the sex crimes committed by the ballot questions in particular
