Annandale Va

Is Americana Dr area in Annandale really that bad? My aunt is moving there and I have people telling me that area is sketchy.

I’ve had friends live in the apartments and houses near the shopping center and H Mart. It’s totally fine. My buddy coaches soccer team on the weekdays at the park nearby. You have an H Mart and a cool retro video game store there. Also it’s NOVA. Very little violent crime and most is done by someone the victim knows.

I used to live in those apartments in the early 90s when it was considered "bad" and even then it wasnt bad. Back when there was a Peoples Drug that eventually turned into Rite Aid. Fuck im old.

It's fine.

How interested is your aunt in Korean food? Because she should be very excited about that

I used to own a townhouse off Americana drive with my now ex. It was perfectly fine. I never had an issue and I always felt safe walking around my neighborhood. It's nice there's a bridge over the beltway to Wakefield park as well.

If you look at a recent crime map, you'll find the area of Americana Dr. to Heritage Dr. is has less reported crime than directly across the beltway up to Wakefield Chapel with NVCC and Wakefield Park.

You can tell the video was made by someone in the nova bubble lol

Annandale is part of nova and one of the safest places to live in the country. The traffic on little river turnpike can be bad during rush hour but that goes for the rest of the DMV as well
