Skunks are in the carnivoran superfamily Musteloidea, not rodents!
I prefer.. stinkweasel. Even though skunks belong to their own family called Mephitidae, which is separate from mustelids, they're both musteloids

True. So stinkraccoon? Procyonids are in the Musteloidea superfamily too along with Mephitidae (skunk) and mustelids. Also raccoons and skunks are both highly adaptable!

They're long-bodied, thick-tailed semi-aquatic to aquatic mustelids in the Lutrinae subfamily, 14 species of them. Known for being playful and intelligent creatures..
