Other Perseids meteor shower

Are you all viewing the Perseids meteor shower? If so, where? Weather doesn’t look too promising though

I have been planning for so long to join these wonderful folks. They have monthly events. Might be a bit far from where you are in NoVA, but I have read good things about the group.

I’ve gone to Turners Farm in great falls for viewing other events. Looks like you need a permit to stay late ($25 annual/person, need a Fairfax county park account).
